I owned a restaurant called Crepe Store while I was attending university. During my high school years I helped my mom bake cakes. I have always been connected to the baking world, not to mention that I have completed my French pastry classes and also the Wilton method for cake decorating.

In 2008, we introduced ourselves into the world of Gingerbread houses. We entered a contest in Miami, Florida for the Coral Gables Museum and surprised not only ourselves, but all bakers. We won the contest with 1st prize for the Coral Gables structure and 1st prize for in the professional category.

In august 2009, Eater, the website that provides extensive coverage of New York food scene lauched a convocatory to participate on a competition to be part of the "SWEET" event happening in the food and wine festival in New York city 2009.

The contest at el Dorado Pembroke Pines, on behalf to “AMIGOS FOR KIDS “foundation. Designer’s Cake was part of THE CELEBRITY CHEF INGRID HOFFMANN team “SIMPLY DELICIOSO”. Winners of 1st prize.

The contest at NATIONAL GINGERBREAD HOUSES in Asheville North Carolina. Top Ten Elite Gingerbread house winners.
